Julia + Oliver – Desert Disco Wedding at Palo Duro Canyon

Disco Wedding Details
Created by Ali Coşkunfrom the Noun Project

This is the story of Julia + Oliver. A trendy, old-soul couple who met in art school years ago. While visiting Palo Duro Canyon, they decided to plan their out-of-town wedding there, and throw a little disco for their loved ones! Their wedding touches were a little bit retro, and totally artsy. I just have to say, I was in awe of Julia’s attention to detail. From the custom stickers and pizza boxes, to the basket of emergency goods in the bathroom she left for her guests. What’s even cool-er is the story behind their disco balls. They met a man in Mexico who was hand-crafting glass items at a street market, and asked if he could create the giant disco balls for their wedding! I can see them being a family heirloom, passed down to generations!

When this couple booked with me, their biggest emphasis was not on all the details though, but the time they would spend with their friends and family, so much of the wedding coverage was dedicated to their fun-filled reception. All of their favorite people enjoyed pizza from Reagan’s Brick Oven, a local mariachi band, and packed onto the dance floor with all the moves!
